Christmas Break

Our Holiday Season.....

We had a fun and enjoyable Christmas. All the kids were pleased with Santa! Hopefully, there will be NO need to purchase any NEW electronic game console...EVER!!!!

Don and I got to go to Idaho for the week of New Years. Our niece Kira got married on January 4th to Jordan Hansen. They had a fun reception, we were sad our kids weren't there for the fun. I really enjoyed myself, because I was available to help Carol with wedding preparations without worrying about my kids. One night while in the hot tub we were pressured into laying in the snow. I was very hestitant, but gave in to the peer pressure, I do have to say it was not sooooo bad! THANKS CAROL AND ED FOR HOSTING US AND ALL OF THE FUN! THANKS MOM & LUANNE FOR WATCHING OUR KIDS!!

Grandma and Grandpa Leavitt drove from Idaho to Arizona with us, really we drove back with them. They stayed for about 1 1/2 weeks. We enjoy what ever time we get to spend with them. The girls just love them!

CHRISTMAS DRESSES....

CHRISTMAS MORNING...

A few funny quotes we would like to share:

Travis says to Don "Dad you shouldn't think while you drive, you might get in a crash!"

Darin's first reply to my text (on his new cell phone from Santa) "Oh my gosh! Why are you texting me?"

Braden just yesterday was checking out the whole chicken I had in the crockpot and says "ew, Mom why did you put oranges in his butt?" It took me a few seconds to stop laughing and then explain to him that end was not the butt.

FALL BREAK!

For Fall Break, we went up to the cabin. We had lots of fun. We went 4 wheeling, fished, played games, climbed trees, shot bb guns, swung on the tire swing. Travis and Trevor Warren (some friends who went with us) even fell (chopped down) a pine tree, all by themselves. The Warren's brought up a few quads (that run) and we had a few. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday we went for 4 wheeler rides. The Warrens left on Thursday, so on Friday, we went to the lake and some of us fished.
A day at the lake....
Cade..super good shot!

Don and Travis...they both love to fish!

Girls carrying their own fishing poles.

Braden and his electronics.

BB gun shooting...Darin

Now, this is a cute picture with the FALL twigs!

Cade, Mckell and Braden

Kambree...exploring while others were riding.
(it is a requirement for her to have her belly showing in every picture)

Family picture time....

As always, I thought it would be such a great idea to attempt a picture of the kids (possible Christmas cards??). Each time, it was an ordeal!

Willow Springs Lake

I thought the two twigs of FALL colors would make a nice picture.

Swing in front of the cabin, atleast some of them are smiling.

Sarah wanted to see the girls with their ears pierced.

Mckell, has pink flowers.
We took them out once and she did not like me putting them back in... they are now back in to stay.

Kambree was not to fond of getting a picture taken of her ear.

Hers are silver. While we were at the cabin, she wanted me to take them out, so I did. I just tried to put them back in, well, she is currently showing off the one earring look!
