Following good examples....

Okay I am going to attempt a TOP TEN (following Sarah and Katie's examples). I am not very good at writing anything down, and REALLY not good at remembering, so this is going to be a challenge for me.

Here's the TOP TEN for APRIL

10. Baseball season is coming to a close; Darin's team is undefeated while Braden's team has won 1 game; Travis and Cade's teams are doing well (not so competitive at this age, we are thrilled if they manage to hit the ball and get on base!)

9. Whenever Kambree has to go to the bathroom, she announces, "Hurry mom, I am going to pee myself" while she is running and grabbing herself.

8. Don loves nick names he calls: Travis 'Buck' and Cade 'wheat'; Kambree is "Kambrees POPCORN Leavitt". Braden would like him to STOP calling him 'Bunch' especially during a baseball game. Cade would LIKE everyone to call him 'Cadester'.

7. We have finally gotten over, "and we are thankful Pres. Hinckley died for us" in our prayers.

6. I have a conversation with Mckell on who came from whose tummy. When we were discussing Don's mom, she said "you mean the grandma that lives far away with the grandpa I like?"

5. All of the kids beg for gum during sacrament meeting. Finally, I give in. Then Mckell says, mom "I don't know how this gum got in my hair!!! " Thankfully it came out fairly easy, but she is not allowed to have gum until she is six!

4. Kambree's list of baby dolls: "white baby", "fat baby", "laugh baby", "naked baby", "Cindy" (the only one with a name), "pink baby", and "little baby".

3. One more Pinewood Derby car complete. 8 down, 4 to go (but who's counting??)

2. Letting Darin drive home from G & G's house after Sunday dinner. It was quite amusing to hear everyone's comments on 'we were going to die' and 'watch out for that car'.

1. Brace yourself for this one, and excuse the language! Mckell went across the street to see if her friend could play. She came home and says, "Damn-it mom I forgot to tell her something." I was trying very hard not to laugh and explained to her that we can say dang-it or darn-it, but not that word.

that was HILLARIOUS! I love hearing it--especially b/c we're not around to see them growing up!
